+ what is the tuition cost for lead south georgia?

  LEAD costs $7,000 per school year. This fee is separate from Lee University or any other school-related fees.

+ WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE LEAD TUITION?

    Tuition covers housing, ministry transportation, admin fees, and some meals.* Students will need extra funds for personal items, such as toiletries, groceries,
    school books, or any extra outings. 

+ AM I ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID?

    Yes! Students who enroll with Lee University (or the school of your choosing) are eligible to apply for Federal Aid. Like any college program, you must
    complete the FAFSA Application for eligibility.

+ IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT FOR ACCEPTANCE TO LEAD SOUTH GEORGIA?

    LEAD is a program designed for high school graduates & young adults. Most of our students are ages 18-25

+ WHO CAN I ASK FOR A PASTORAL RECOMMENDATION?

     Your pastoral recommendation may come from any member of the pastoral staff at your local church. It is highly suggested you receive the
     recommendation from a pastor you have known for a minimum of 6 months. If your Senior Pastor is a family member, we ask that another staff member fill
     out your pastoral recommendation.

+ WHAT DEVICES & SUPPLIES WILL I NEED TO COMPLETE MY COURSEWORK?

     Students are required to bring their own laptop to complete schoolwork and any other assignments given to them.

+ WILL HOUSING BE PROVIDED?

    Yes – LEAD South Georgia is a residential program courtesy of Azalea City Church.

+ WILL I NEED A CAR?

    Students are not required to have a vehicle. Any travel required for ministry will be provided.

+ WHAT KIND OF FREE TIME CAN I EXPECT?

    Students are required to be in the office with the church staff, as well as attend any services/events on the calendar. Most evenings are free for homework,
    hanging out with friends, relaxing, or catching up on some sleep!

+ CAN I HAVE A JOB WHILE AT LEAD SOUTH GEORGIA?

    While we recommend students be fully immersed in the internship, we understand that some may need part time jobs. Students are permitted to work, as
    long as they are able to meet all of the expectations from the LEAD Program.


*Meals are not provided by LEAD and students will need to cover their own food expenses. However, upon occasion we will provide food during events.
